State the measurement boundary
Use accepted apples as the denominator only for a whole-fruit extraction balance. Pressed juice, clarified juice and filled product are different numerators. Record measured masses and the period before calculating a percentage.
Close the balance before comparing yields
For the named boundary, input mass equals collected outputs plus the change in retained inventory and any identified uncollected material. Added water and recipe ingredients belong in separate input rows. Investigate a residual instead of assigning it to a machine efficiency.
Separate concentration from extraction
Record juice feed mass, compatible feed and target solids measurements, concentrate mass and condensate separately. The existing capacity calculator is an initial balance aid; it does not supply a default press yield or an equipment guarantee.
Use the blank trial worksheet
Download the RFQ and trial worksheet from the homepage. Enter the measurements for your own product; its blank fields are not factory test results.
Record before comparing proposals
Scroll the table sideways to compare every column.
| Record field | Buyer / trial entry |
|---|---|
| Boundary / time interval | To be recorded |
| Input and added streams (kg) | To be recorded |
| Collected outputs (kg) | To be recorded |
| Start/end retained inventory (kg) | To be recorded |
| Solids method / sample temperature | To be recorded |
| Calculated recovery basis and residual | To be recorded |
Take the question into the route, equipment and enquiry pages. The useful outcome is a clearer brief, not a longer reading list.
