Start with the incoming apples
Apples arriving in bins, crates or bulk loads need different receiving arrangements. Describe fruit firmness, visible soil, leaves and other foreign material. The washing section must handle the delivery peak and provide inspection access before fruit enters the crusher.
Connect washing to controlled feeding
A washing machine is part of a material-handling system. Compare the fruit level, conveyor arrangement, transfer heights and feed control with the crusher inlet. A steady feed helps the extraction section operate consistently; an oversized receiving burst can overwhelm a smaller downstream process.
Specify water and waste streams
Define fresh-water quality, recirculation, debris removal, overflow and drainage. Water consumption depends on the chosen arrangement and fruit load. Keep cleaning-water discharge separate from juice-product transfer and identify where collected material leaves the washing area.
What to include in the enquiry
State the accepted apple input per hour, unloading method, contamination load and available floor space. Add water and drain connection details, inspection requirements and the next machine in the line. Confirm fruit handling and cleaning access during equipment selection.
