Allow for the full operating window
Receiving, pressing, cleaning and filling may follow different schedules. Identify buffers and interruptions before assuming all modules run continuously at the same nominal rate.
Draw the outgoing material
Pomace, filter residues, condensate and cleaning waste need explicit destinations. Keep production, reject and cleaning circuits distinguishable in the layout.
Specify utility conditions at the handover
Ask for the flow, pressure, temperature, quality and connection requirements of the chosen equipment. Distinguish peak and average demand and consider simultaneous operations.
Connect treatment and packaging responsibilities
Define the actual filler and package, the required product condition and the validation responsibilities. No general equipment selection automatically guarantees shelf life.
